Hangar 1 Landmark Plaque

Our solid brass Hangar 1 Landmark Plaque arrived today. The Plaque comes in two pieces. The top portion is 9X18 inches and the bottom portion is 13.5 x 18 inches. The combined dimension is 22.5 by 18 inches and the weight is a substantial 35 pounds. Now we just have to get our license and decide where and when we hold our dedication ceremony.

GOOD NEWS

During June of 2019 when we had the crisis of losing our flying privileges in Hangar 1 I tried to enlist the help of the AMA. I contacted our AMA District II Vice President Eric Williams and told him about our dilemma. Fortunately we did not need AMA’s help because I was able to convince Lakehurst base commander Capitan Khan to let us back on base.
